Behold! Teaser trailer for the soon to be made documentary by filmmaker Nick Noyes (fightswithwalls.com), giving the general public a taste of the highly intense and slightly erotic art-related events that unfold daily from within my shadowy underground creativity lair.

Five pieces from the “Brooklyn (Misremembered)” series are going to be included in the upcoming show “Construct, Belief and Nostalgia” along with the work of two other Boston artists – Lindsey Kocur and John Campbell – at 13Forest Gallery in Arlington. The show is divided into 2 stages: opening reception this Sat. from 4p-6p and a screening of 3 mini documentaries about each artist and artist talk / Q&A on Feb.27th 4p-6p. The show runs until March 9th, but I’d love to see you there if you can make it to either of these events! http://13forest.com/construct-belief-and-nostalgia Best, _Mike

My painting "Adaptation" will be making its way into this year's Annual Juried Exhibition "Off The Wall" at the Danforth Art Museum in Framingham, MA. Unfortunately the opening reception is closed to the public, but the show will be on display most of the summer from June 7 - August 2 (admission for Framingham residents is free on Saturdays from 10am - 12pm and their membership packages are well worth the price for non-locals). Please stop by if you'd like to get a closer look at "Adaptation" as well as a well-rounded view of what the current New England art scene looks like!

I'm happy to say that my work is now represented by the excellent 13FOREST Gallery in Arlington, MA. If you're interested in viewing / acquiring any of my paintings, either contact me directly or check out www.13forest.com/ to see what they have on hand (my page is www.13forest.com/mikeryczek.shtml with "Myopic" and "Untitled" currently up for sale). They're a small space with a long list of talented Boston artists, and as a result their inventory is extensive and varied. The owners / curator are also very welcoming and knowledgeable, so don't be afraid to stop in if you're nearby!

Hi People, I’m going to be hanging a few of my paintings from over the past couple of years in the Main Hall of the Newton Free Library on Nov. 4th (they will be on display until the 26th) and having a small opening reception on the 6th (Thurs.) from 7p-8:30p. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. No booze unfortunately because it’s a library, but luckily my work is so intoxicating that you won’t need it! Hope to see you there! EXHIBITION DATES / November 4-26, 2014 OPENING RECEPTION / November 6, 7p-8:30p
